It's been a computer/food shopping/quickly run a pair of pants to school for the kiddo kind-of-day, and not so much a paper art day (boo). But those days happen, and are super important in my life, too.
Over the weekend, I purchased a second pair of my favorite tweezers. Once upon a time, quite a few years ago, these were "Tweezer Bee" tweezers, but now are made by EK Success and they are the best tool. They have a reverse action - so instead of resting in the open position, like regular tweezers (like the ones you might use to pull out a splinter from your kid), these rest in a tightly closed position, and open when you squeeze them -- which is lovely for paper quillers! I use them as clamps to hold loose coils closed during gluing, and to hold solid rolls tight while I scramble to get more paper because I didn't prep enough and the roll clearly needs to be bigger.
