Please note that I currently sell all of my ready to ship items and some custom items via Etsy. The following policies are the same for both places. Additional Etsy-specific payment information is available in the runnerbean Etsy shop. Thank you for your support!
I respect your privacy and will never sell or share your information or email address with anyone. I use your address for shipping purposes only.
I accept orders from most locations worldwide. Customers can order from the runnerbean shop on this website where payment is accepted through Stripe, which accepts all major credit cards and Apple Pay, or PayPal. You may also purchase from my shop on Etsy where you can pay via Etsy Direct Checkout or PayPal. Customers can also contact me directly for a custom order. I accept the following forms of payment for custom orders: PayPal or check, or, if you prefer, custom listings can be created at Etsy for your convenience and additional payment options.
For small custom projects, full payment is required up front. For larger projects (e.g. wedding figures or embellished invitations) a minimum half the total price is required up front, with final balance due upon approval/completion of the piece. The piece will not ship until payment has been received in full. See Custom Work details below, for more information on my custom work process.

STANDARD U.S. DOMESTIC SHIPPING is via USPS First Class Mail which can be estimated to take about 3-7 days travel time. You may also request an expedited method of shipping for an additional charge. Please contact me at the time of your order. I am not responsible for misdelivered or undelivered packages where the shipping address given was incorrect. I am not responsible for delays caused by weather or transit once the package has been put into the USPS system. All U.S. orders will have tracking and insurance added.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING is via USPS first class international mail. You may also request an international expedited method of shipping for an additional charge. Please contact me at the time of your order. Unfortunately these orders cannot be tracked once they leave the U.S.. International orders can take between 2-8 weeks to arrive at their destination - specific times vary by destination and cannot be predicted. Please allow up to 8 weeks for delivery. If you would like to upgrade to a trackable shipping method, please contact me prior to purchasing. All duties and customs fees (these are added by your country, not by me) are the responsibility of the buyer. I cannot legally ship your package as a gift, so please note you will need to pay these fees yourself. I also cannot be held responsible for delays caused by weather, transit, or customs.
NOTE: Please ensure your information and shipping address are correct at check out. I am not responsible for packages shipped to an address that you no longer live at or an address that was entered incorrectly. If you'd like to ship something as a gift to a friend, please make a note on your order.
BROKEN or DAMAGED ITEMS
I package each item very carefully to make it safely to you, but should you receive a broken or damaged item, please contact me immediately (within 3 days of delivery) and we will work together to resolve the issue.
LOST, STOLEN, or DAMAGED PACKAGES
Theft, loss and breakage rarely occur. I cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged-in-transit packages. Please contact me immediately if you feel your package has been lost or arrives damaged. *Please be sure your shipping address is correct before shipment*
I rely on USPS tracking (available on all U.S. shipments) to determine whether a package is lost/missing. If your package goes missing for 30 days, I can offer your a replacement or refund depending on availability of the product. Please contact me if your order has gone missing. International orders can take between 2-8 weeks to arrive at their destination - specific times vary by destination and cannot be predicted. Please allow up to 8 weeks for delivery.
If your package is marked as delivered by the USPS, but is not received please first contact your post office and check with neighbors, roommates, and/or family members. Speaking directly with your mail carrier is also helpful. I trust the USPS to do their job and for my customers to be honest with me about their merchandise.
Returns are accepted on READY TO SHIP ITEMS ONLY. No returns on personalized items (see below for more).
To request a refund on an item that was ready to ship, please contact me within 3 business days of delivery and before returning your item. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and assumes the responsibility should the item go missing in transit. Once the item is received in acceptable condition, a refund of the original item price will be processed. Returns or exchanges will not be processed until I have received the item.
CUSTOM ITEMS or items that have been PERSONALIZED (adding text to the bottom of bases, additional items created and added to a ready to ship piece) are not returnable or refundable unless there is an error on my end.*

I work closely with you to create a piece you will be thrilled with, providing photos during production and avoiding unhappy surprises! If you receive your item and are unhappy, please get in touch within 3 days of delivery to discuss.
Please note colors might show differently on your computer, phone or tablet screen. If you have questions about the color accuracy of a particular piece, or want color matching, please get in touch. I'm happy to send out color paper samples.
Depending on your custom project idea and my current production queue, turnaround time for custom work may be up to 3-4 months.
Once I have your details*, I provide a quote and at that time, request payment. *Details required will include all color selections, attire, accessories, hairstyles, flowers or other props desired, and possibly height differences, or any other details necessary to complete the piece. I *love* the details, and may reach out with additional questions as work progresses. I will work from your photos (reference or actual) and descriptions. I also understand that details change and sometimes continue to develop (especially in the case of wedding figures!) so please just keep me in the loop.
Once I'm actively creating the piece, I'll also keep you updated on progress with photos and notes. In a nutshell, I work closely with you to create a piece you will be thrilled with!
